Hello guys, I live in East Europe and I know there are new rules and regulations considering investing by European citizens in US stock market. I want to know is there a way to start investing in S&P500 index fund and what is the best way to do it, if possible.

    Thanks!

Since index funds are common and easy to find you have a few options. The first is to open an account with any of the brokerages that operate in your country and allow you to either directly invest in US Funds or ETFs (I believe Interactive Brokers and Saxo Bank usually work). The other option is to go to your local bank and discuss it with them. Since you aren't looking to buy individual equities, generally any bank of size that operates in the international marketplace will have a brokerage arm.
