What was the best self investment you've ever made, so a course, an event, a book, a new health habit etc.....

    Thanks for the question @k.

That's a great one that really made us think. My brother and I took some time to talk through this one to really try and figure out what was our best self investment.

Our final answer reminded us of something that Warren Buffet said very well....

"Ultimately, there's one investment that supersedes all others: Invest in yourself," "Nobody can take away what you've got in yourself, and everybody has potential they haven't used yet." - Warren Buffet

So, as we took a real close look at what we have been doing with a lot of our time over the past several years which has been....Learning, growing, and expanding on our current skill sets and knowledge. So, essentially we agree 100% with Warren Buffet and that is the best investment we've made is in ourselves.

Take care of your health proactively not reactively. Show up. Do the work. Educate yourself daily. Find a coach/mentor/sibling to hold you accountable. Invest the time in these things each day.

You might be wondering... well... that's great guys... but what does that look like for you and how do we put something like that into action....

Well to start it off, we have made the conscious choice to be happy. Yes, happiness is a choice. Happy people choose to focus on the positive aspects of life, rather than the negative. They are not held hostage by their circumstances. They look at all the reasons to be grateful and appreciative.

“Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
    - Abraham Lincoln

One thing that we realize that has become second nature for both of us is that we honor our intuition. Listening to our intuition has proven to enable us to make better decisions. Valuing our intuition, by not allowing the thoughts, feelings or other distractions take away from what we know to be true has been very empowering and enabled us to make quicker and more timely decisions as well. We have the courage and confidence to speak our truths. We have realized over time, that the more we checked-in with ourselves and believed in the decisions that we have been making were the right ones (based on years of learning), the more abundance and balance has shown up in our lives.

So, to wrap up this answer in a sentence or two....

Investing in ourselves physically, spiritually, emotionally and financially, has shown us the path of living the best versions of ourselves day in and day out. In living this way, we have attracted the right opportunities in our personal and business lives. We are now able to quickly realize when something doesn't feel right and then make the appropriate moves to ensure we get back into balance.

Looking forward to hearing how everyone else here invests in themselves and what has worked for them!

Happy to answer any other questions on this topic. Its one we are truly passionate about.
